We forgot that humans are not shrews, but discoverers I was lucky enough to get to the re-release of the film "Interstellar" by Christopher Nolan, which was shown in the cinema in the original dubbing and with Russian subtitles. Repeated viewing prompted me to write a review of this masterpiece. For many years I didn't dare to take up this, because I was just afraid, because it's difficult to review your favorite movie in life. Now I feel that there is such a desire. Nolan's picture appears as a high-quality fantasy drama with a responsible approach to the scientific component. After all, the director worked side by side with the famous physicist Kip Thorne in the preparation process. This joint work was useful to everyone. Thorne suggested how certain laws of physics behave, even formulated new theories, as far as I heard. At the same time, the computing power of Christopher Nolan's team helped Thorne solve some difficulties in his work. The joint approach made it possible for the whole world to see for the first time on the screen what a black hole really looks like and the unique beauty of the glow of matter around it. I'm sure everyone sees this picture before their eyes after watching the movie, as these are some of the most beautiful shots of Interstellar. But still, it's not only science and visual effects that the picture wins. The film is very high quality with well-developed characters and excellent acting. I especially remember the love line of a father and daughter who have always been together, but the chance that presented itself to the father sends him on a distant space journey. And he can't even answer his daughter when he returns to her, because he simply doesn't know. Cooper and Murph's farewell scene is one of the most powerful and dramatic in the film. The film constantly keeps in suspense, tells a great story, shows how different people are. For example, I remember the arch of Dr. Mann, when a person appears completely different than everyone thought about him. The authors of the film smartly show his motivation through communication with a group of astronauts. All this makes you think, how strong are you yourself? What would you do in a situation like the one Mann found himself in? And, you know, let's be honest with ourselves, until a person finds himself in such a situation, he does not dare to blame Mann for what happened. A chic video sequence, full—scale shooting, high-quality use of computer graphics and live scenery - all these Nolan's signature techniques are perfectly recognized in the work. The docking scene alone causes unprecedented delight. An experienced director tells his story consistently, without making any distortions, which makes the picture look complete and never delayed in time, despite the fact that the film runs for almost 3 hours. Special thanks to my favorite composer Hans Zimmer. His soundtrack became legendary, returning an unprecedented interest in organ music, giving it a new — cosmic essence. The sounds of the emptiness of space have acquired a brutal bright sound, despite the fact that there are simply no sounds in the airless space. Each actor showed himself only from the best side. It doesn't matter if he had a big role or not. McConaughey, Foy, Chastain, Hathaway, Kane, Damon, Lithgow, Grace, Affleck, Bentley, Gyasi, Burstyn, Chalamet — thank you for such work. I believed your every phrase, every movement. The film has several storylines that are perfectly intertwined with each other, and the degree of narration grows with each new scene. We see how the planet is dying, and the generation of children that were recently born will be the last on Earth. Cinema shows and teaches that humanity, in its desire to survive, is capable of much, is ready to fight to the end, without giving up in order to save its species. Often terrible and sometimes cruel decisions. After watching and leaving the hall for the first time, you suddenly realize that the events happening around you that seemed important may not actually be so, because the world is huge, there are many opportunities for us, people of reality. But those who find themselves in the situation from the film may well die, humanity may sink into oblivion. And then you suddenly realize that you need to live and enjoy every day, look for new opportunities, love your children and parents, because this is the main thing in life. "Interstellar" is a great movie that I would advise everyone to watch. A high-quality script, an impressive story, excellent acting, great video and audio sequences that will give a memorable project that will be in people's minds for many decades to come. 10 out of 10
