Some 600 years ago, England and France were engaged in a long war for territory and the throne, which lasted almost 100 years. The French were being driven out of their territories by the British, who had a powerful army at their disposal, and were on the verge of extinction. France was saved by a 17-year-old girl.

Born and raised in a small French village, Joan of Arc one day heard the voice of God, took up the sword and led an army against the British. This is the story of the exploits and tragedy of a young girl who is still loved today as a heroine who saved France!
