The carnival has come to Getaway Bay.

And with it – a murder.

While Addison Lake and her family enjoy an Easter break at the carnival, knife-thrower Frankie Hammond is stabbed in the back with one of his own knives. Detective Wilcox is understaffed and down with the flu, so Addison steps up to help investigate.

Magicians, staff, and the owners of the carnival are all on the suspect list. Even the clowns have a motive for wanting Frankie dead.
