Sumiko

Sumiko is a latch-key kid living in a suburb of Tokyo, where she is somewhat of a local celebrity. She is 8 year's old and dreams of becoming a famous singer some day. Her Mom works at a neighborhood ramen shop and Sumiko hangs out there a lot after school. Her Papa is a truck driver who is often away from home. However, when he is at home, she loves to accompany him to the local Karaoke box, where she can practice singing her favorite tunes.
