Lene and Anders have received the keys to Hotel Edelweiss and the family's new home. The couple's youngest son, Otto, starts at the local school on the same day, but what happens when no one in the family speaks German? The rest of the family goes through the 1700 square meter alpine hotel with their interior design friend Katrine, and Lene and Anders soon realize that their ambitions for the hotel are far greater than their budget.

Things don't get any better when Lene falls and bruises five ribs and can't help out at the hotel or with the move.
