Mimi Aguglia (21 December 1884 – 31 July 1970) was an Italian actress, who was born in Catania, Sicily while her own mother, actress Giuseppina Aguglia, was playing Desdemona in Othello. She was doing warm up acts for her famous actress mother by the time she was five. She went on to tour both Italy and Europe and became an internationally famous theatrical actress in her own right. She was "discovered" by Hollywood and from the 1930s until her death was a much requested character actress in movies. Her daughter Argentina Brunetti (1907–2005) was also an actress.
