__Date of Birth:__ May 8, 1968 __Birthplace:__ Tokyo, Japan __Residency (former):__ Tokyo, Japan __Introduction:__ Hiroyuki Kanno was a Japanese video game designer and screenwriter who was known to write and direct erotic adventure games and visual novels. __Biography:__ Some of his most well-known work include Xenon, Desire, Eve Burst Error and YU-NO (which he did during his stay at ELF Corporation), these all had a major influence on the genre. He was friends with Ryuu Umemoto, who he often worked closely with and who composed most of the music for the games. In December of 1997, he founded the Abel corporation and became its CEO.
