Aya Hirakawa (real name: Aya Yamane) is a Japanese manga artist. She is from Taisha-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. She graduated from Shimane Prefectural Taisha High School. Her main works are romantic comedies. She is known for liking to work with a characterization of androgynous characters, who transcend gender boundaries. She sometimes sneaks characters from previous works into the mob of her next work.
