Matt Schley (rhymes with “guy”) writes about anime, film and other aspects of Japanese culture. His writing has appeared in The Japan Times, Screen International, Otaku USA Magazine, Time Out Tokyo and others. Matt also works as a translator and consultant for several Japan-themed TV shows on NHK World Japan. He has also produced video segments for clients such as Netflix, Funimation, Kadokawa and NHK.
