Myers was scouted by TWIN PLANET ENTERTAINMENT while in high school on Instagram, which sparked her beginning interests in modeling. Arai's father is Canadian and teaches English at a college. Her mother is Japanese. From elementary school up until her first year of high school, Arai was a volleyball player. From her second year and beyond, she was in track & field and participated in her prefecture's inter-high tournament. She is a fan of the idol group BiSH and often goes to their stage performances.
