A new challenge for Agent 007 For the third year in a row, the creators of Bond delighted the audience with the adventures of James Bond on the big screens. The new film of the Goldfinger franchise turned out to be a strong project that was not inferior to its predecessors, and even surpassed in many aspects. At least, I remember him very well. Time never stands still, the world is changing, different events are happening. The new Bond picture was also waiting for changes. A significant one of them was the change of director. Terence Young, who gave the world the first two films, did not participate in the project. He was replaced by Guy Hamilton, who has already shown the world such films as "The Devil's Disciple", "Touch of the Thief" and "The Best Enemies". All the projects are not bad, but the story about the British agent has become a new challenge for the author. I can say with confidence that he coped with his task as a director. The third picture about Bond came out spectacular and dramatic. Sean Connery continues to show himself to the world as a clear, reasonable, strong spy, which serves for the benefit of his homeland and humanity as a whole (the US Gold Reserve in this particular case). The authors dispensed with the already well-known SPECTRUM organization, which of course upset the audience a little. After all, we were eager to reveal the identity of the main secret villain of a powerful organization. But by the middle of the film, you realize that even without the notorious spectrum in the picture there is something to look at, the plot is addictive, and the adventures of 007 go to a new level. They look interesting. There are two colorful villains in the film at once, which are remembered and even stand out in memory against the background of numerous Bond enemies from the rest of the franchise films. Goldfinger himself (literally "Golden Finger" from English) appears to the viewer not as a physical equal of 007. This is a heavy, ugly man, who at the same time is quite capable of bypassing everyone and everything intellectually, developing his deadly plans. His assistant, played by Harold Sakata, is sympathetic. Always smiling, on his mind and with a deadly hat on his head — this man will definitely become a worthy rival of the British agent. The film will once again show interesting smart devices of James Bond, which the department staff will so carefully prepare for him under the strict guidance of engineer Q. There will definitely be innovations in the hero's arsenal, to which the viewer begins to get used, because over time it will become one of the chips of the new film. A new picture about Agent 007 — new gadgets for Bond. The video sequence is decent. The music is on top, and the main track "Goldfinger" performed by Shirley Bassey has probably become one of the most memorable songs for films about a British agent. Jazz orientation, a tribute to modern motives, the song conveys an entire era. The film was awarded an Oscar. Yes, the third film has already risen to such heights, taking the statuette in the nomination "Best Sound Effects". "Goldfinger" is a great dynamic film. This is an action movie with a capital letter, where Sean Connery will fight the villains again, seduce a beauty, approach his next task with maximum responsibility and of course will not leave anyone indifferent. The film is a quality product of its genre. He is amazing, dynamic, interesting and memorable. 8 out of 10
