Departure to the sources Daniel Craig became the sixth performer of the role of British agent 007 James Bond in the official series of films about the famous spy. They decided to restart the series again, and as we will understand later, this will become a separate story, where Bond-Craig will exist within one large narrative throughout the series of five films. "Casino Royale" is based on the very first book by Ian Fleming with the same title in 1953. James Bond appears here as a novice agent who has just received a license with two zeros, which implies permission to kill. And the story immediately becomes interesting, because you want to watch the formation of Bond, his new adventures and how he will go his way to become a legendary employee in the British intelligence service. Daniel Craig is one of my favorite actors who embodied the image of Bond. This is definitely a new character who exists in the realities of the actual modernity of our world. Bond is multifaceted in the film. Craig perfectly demonstrates the entire possible palette of feelings of an English scout. In this film, he really is a man with a full range of various pros and cons. Of course, they are based on the knowledge of the hero familiar to the viewer, but Daniel perfectly breathed a lot of new things into this image. Craig plays smartly at the junction of classic Bond and modern, allowing you to enjoy the charisma, humor, drama of the hero, but at the same time bringing absolutely new and sometimes even elusive to Agent 007, thereby giving us a unique reincarnation of James Bond. Craig's character becomes closer to the viewer, he can be angry and kind, knows how to smile and empathize, often loses control of himself, but copes with it, turning into a professional again. The James Bond of this film is finally a real character with whom the viewer can associate himself. Macho and lovelace, who defeats everyone and everything around with a cheeky grin, is a thing of the past. The hero will suffer setbacks, celebrate triumph, learn to love and make friends, and also learn the bitterness of disappointment, realizing that people can betray. "Casino Royale" has become a much more mundane project if you compare it with the previous work "Die another day". And even if there is much less pathos, wild chases and shootouts on the screen, the film looks much more interesting. This is no longer just an action movie, it's a thriller where the emphasis is shifted towards people and their problems. However, this does not mean that visually the project turned out to be a loser. There are also a lot of gorgeous locations, excellent actors and actresses, a gorgeous plot and a project that will keep you in suspense throughout the action on the screen. Craig became a great Bond, gave his own special character, whom you believe and empathize with. I really liked the next return to the role of actress Judi Dench. The role was successful again, and we managed to see a new formation of the relationship between M and 007. It's interesting, and even with an eye to the future. I would like to mention Eva Green's game separately. It was in this picture that I discovered this actress. Her Vesper Lind combines unique features, giving rise to such a heroine who remains in the soul of Bond for a long time, and the audience too. Beautiful, charming, smart, calculating and interesting — all this is her. Mads Michelsen also played well here. The man perfectly embodied the villain Le Cipher. A dangerous criminal finds himself in a desperate situation, which requires him to take decisive measures. These measures lead us to where the plot of the picture twists. It is a pleasure to watch the card confrontation of the main characters, but the subsequent events will be no less interesting, which will give a lot of excellent visual and audio content. The new Bond was a great reinterpretation, the picture gave a wonderful reboot of the 007 agent Universe. The film came out very successful, breathing new life into the characters. All the delights of Bond films are in place: chases, shootouts, a tense plot. However, in my opinion, the new hero is much more important. Bond has become much more human than his previous reincarnations. You believe this person, you empathize with him, and this is one of the most important aspects of a successful project. 10 out of 10
