"Ragnarok" unexpectedly presented to the viewer a new vision of the former hero. Why feelings after viewing remained contradictory. So, going to watch this movie, one way or another, you look back, where Thor already has two solo films and two joint ones with other heroes. The impression about him has already formed, and the creators know it. But this picture perfectly demonstrates that the tone of the film can change dramatically if another director turns out to be at the helm of the picture. Taika Waititi perfectly suited the role of director if the producers wanted to see the project in a comedic way. In the film, from the very first scene, a playful tone of narration is set, a lot of jokes, appropriate and not very, but against the background of the general picture of the death of the world, Ragnarok, it looks a little strange, as it seemed to me. This makes it difficult to perceive the whole picture. The main characters are certainly good. Chris Hemsforth successfully demonstrates the humor of his hero, drama at the right moments and brutality in the most epic encounters with the enemy. Loki performed by Tom Hiddleston is expected by fans, it seems, more than the film itself. His anti-hero is very charismatic, who constantly balances on the verge of loyalty and betrayal. Hella, performed by Cate Blanchett, makes it clear from the very first appearance that she came here only for victory and it will not be possible to negotiate with her if you do not bend your knees. But she is quite straightforward, without her zest, often looks like a robot. In my opinion, Hella turned out to be very cardboard. It's a pity that Hopkins' role was small. This greatest actor is still an ornament of the film and the entire franchise at this moment. The Hulk was very cool. His hero has changed, found his place on a distant planet, but Thor seems to disrupt his plans to be the star of the arena. The narrative is conducted in the style of "Guardians of the Galaxy" by James Gunn. It catches the eye. Retro music, constant jokes, continuous fun. This, once again, looks cool, but causes misunderstanding when it tells about the end of the world. The jokes are cool, but they are present in almost every scene. And even the most dramatic moments, when you have already taken over the soul, one or another character will bring everything to a joke. By the end of the movie, it's even a little annoying. But in general, a pleasant impression of the film remains. There is a gorgeous visual range, excellent special effects, dynamic music and killer sound, which Marvel always perfectly presents to the audience. Especially memorable is electronic music, which sends somewhere in the 80s of the last century and gives rise to a new fashion for the hits of those years. The result was a great mix of comedy and action, a good hundred jokes and a few jokes, excellent acting and a lot of impressions. 8 out of 10
