Become a great chef
I'm sure we all know how Pixar can shoot. As a rule, these are beautiful paintings with the most interesting plots and diverse characters. But what if one of the main characters should be a rat? After all, this animal, for the most part, causes rejection in humans, and, sometimes, fear. But nothing. Pixar will draw rats so that every viewer will love them. That's why we respect the "jumping lamp".
"Ratatouille" takes first of all its beauty and depth. The huge painted world of a big city makes it easy to guess the majestic Paris in it, which glows with a thousand lights. The creators did their best, it seems, again bypassing themselves in scale.
People and rats become the heroes of the painting. There are enough of both in the frame. The artists masterfully convey the emotions of the characters, their body movements, well, and the rats are served by such milahs, which are little associated with real rodents.
The plot is interesting. The main character, a rat named Remy, has long dreamed of becoming a chef. It's unusual, but for the cartoon and its audience, it's the best thing. Remy's relatives are not particularly supportive, and some openly laugh at rat's dreams. However, Remy finds himself in Paris, and fate brings him together with a man named Alfredo Linguini. The guy works in a restaurant, but he's a lousy cook. And so, by inadvertently uniting, the two begin to create true culinary masterpieces, thereby attracting more and more attention to the restaurant. Yes, such that a critic will even come there.
The story is written perfectly. A lot of humor, a lot of action, a whole scattering of interesting camera solutions. The latter allows you to observe the world from the perspective of rats, who, according to the creators, live a full-fledged social life.
The cartoon is great for a younger audience. This picture will teach children not to be afraid of animals, but to understand that these are the same inhabitants of our planet as we are. Ratatouille will explain to the children how important it is to love wildlife and respect the right to life of every representative of our lesser brothers.
Diverse characters will delight with dialogues, a variety of funny moments, go through victories and defeats. All this will turn into a well-balanced story thanks to competent directing, excellent script and incredible work of the artists.
Ratatouille is a project that, I am sure, is associated primarily with Remy's rat, and not with a kind of cheese. Despite the fact that the project devotes a lot of time to culinary things, it is still a story about the life of everyone in this world. A story that teaches us that everyone can become whatever they want. The main thing is to believe in it, go to your dream, and of course have a certain amount of luck.
