A comedy thriller for all time
Luc Besson is known all over the world thanks to several films, including the brilliant "Fifth Element". The director is not alone in taking up space fiction. Bruce Willis, the savior of all the Earth, becomes his assistant. A star of this scale is a great decoration for this film. Willis is charismatic, courageous, a true hero who goes straight through hordes of enemies. He does this with special zeal, because the hero met Lila, who, by the way, is performed by the magnificent Mila Jovovich. The girl coped perfectly with the role of the most formidable weapon in the universe. At the same time, the heroine is incredibly feminine and beautiful. All this is thanks to Jovovich's game.
And of course, in this tandem it was impossible to do without a charismatic villain, who was tastefully portrayed on the screen by Gary Oldman.
The film begins as a gloomy and even slightly apocalyptic action movie. However, the further you look, the more you realize that after all, this is mostly an entertaining movie. The charm of the film is added by the unique Chris Tucker, who smartly conveys the strangely funny pop culture of the future. He's really gorgeous. In my opinion, half of the film is based on it, and the phrase "Corben, darling" has become a household name.
The film has beautiful colorful scenery, decent graphics, amazingly bright costumes. And a very memorable track, which is performed by Plava Laguna, the blue girl in the opera of the future. This composition is still recognizable and popular to this day.
All the comedy of what is happening is somehow magically intertwined with the main message of the whole film, which says that only true love can save the whole world.
And after watching this masterpiece, you begin to believe in it with renewed vigor.
