i write these words with truthful passion. this movie is ass. music is good and moody, visuals stunning, clothing amazing. the writing in this movie is utter dogballs, its pee, poo, and hogwash at the same time. It tries to talk about sentient AI's and all the characters can think about is their dating life. No consequences in the real world either. Oh but it gets bad. At some point the Ai's start talking to each other, impersonating dead people and all the main chracter asks is " do you still love me". My dude is not even worried or remotely interested about the fact that these things are talking to each other and developing feelings, and having secret lives. Bro was not even remotely impressed by the appearance of sentience in a machine. No, no one in society seemed to even care about the sudden appearance of conscious AIs. To create AIs that predict is one thing, but to replicate the human brain and emotions implies multiple things in society and technological advancements and yet all the characters think about is sex and their primitive dating lives with the exact western values and customs as today. 0 consequences. Also the main characters job is to write love letters in a world where rogue AIs are talking to each other. Somehow this job still exists in that universe.
