If you've seen any vampire movies like Nosferatu, Dracula, Twilight, or Let the Right One In, you'll understand that this film takes an unconventional approach to its storytelling. Radhika Apte's character dynamics are incredibly entertaining and establish a unique world within Mumbai. You'll understand if you've seen or will see the film. And I really liked that aspect. Her performance is wild. Sister Midnight's production feels incredibly international. It's an independent film, but it was made with a British production. Karan's direction is fantastic. The film might feel slow at the beginning, but wait until you get to the wedding scene. Then, see what unfolds in this film. Sister Midnight is a wild, fun ride filmed with minimalist characters and simplicity. If you want a different cinematic experience and are tired of commercial films, give this one a try.
