The Memorable story of Spider-Man
The first Spider-Man movie with Andrew Garfield turned out to be strong. However, in my opinion, the sequel turned out to be much bigger, and at the same time the picture became much darker. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is trying to exceed viewers' expectations, but the reviews are still contradictory. As a result, this project is still one of the most controversial films about a friendly neighbor.
Mark Webb raises the stakes. He explores new facets of the possible in the genre of superheroics. His new film looks much more colorful, but at the same time much darker than the previous one. Something noir is added, and the poisonous blue colors of the new Electro villain get along perfectly with the dark picture that dominates this project. Especially if you compare this film with its predecessor.
The plot and one of the antagonists, Electro, look rather dubious. I love this picture for something else entirely, but I have to come to terms with such a clumsy villain who does not undergo any evolution on the screen, literally turning from a corporate employee beaten down by everyone into a wild and violent monster in just a couple of dozen minutes in the frame, which for some reason blames Spider-Man for his troubles. It looks far-fetched, but you have to put up with these facts.
There are several other storylines in the film, one of which is the appearance of Parker's childhood friend named Harry Osborne. This is undoubtedly the decoration of the painting. Actor Dane Dehaan did a great job with the role, showing a very different character in this project. I would especially like to mention the dubbing of the painting. Anton Kolesnikov undoubtedly gave the hero depth for the Russian-listening audience. The dubbing actor subtly felt his character and became the nerve of this man, keeping the audience in suspense until the finale of the picture.
The relationship between Peter Parker and Harry Osborne is built in an interesting and believable way. Childhood friends are simultaneously happy to meet again, but at the same time wary of each other. It feels like they are not ready to trust the way they did in childhood. It is understandable. It's been a long time, and each of them has changed. The evolution of their relationship is particularly interesting in the picture. But the growing conflict will definitely make you follow what is happening on the screen with interest until the very end.
The film has a special interest in the relationship between Peter and Gwen Stacy. They're together, but it's not that simple. Garfield perfectly shows Parker's experiences, and a competent production makes it clear how hard it is for the guy, because in the last picture he made a promise that he can't seem to keep. The scales tilt from one side to the other, and the main character cannot make a choice. Parker is Spider-Man. But at the same time, he is also Peter, a guy who is no stranger to human feelings. And one of those is love for Gwen. But for a superhero, there is always a danger that his loved ones will be the target of numerous villains. However, Gwen makes her own choice. She wants to be with Peter. He is ready to follow the girl to the other side of the world, if necessary.
Gwen Stacy is the soul of the film. Beautiful and smart, responsible and independent, she is ready to make life-changing decisions, is guided by good intentions, wants to help the Spider and save the inhabitants of the city. Her arch in the film evokes warm feelings. The heroine becomes a native, and Emma Stone, who plays a girl, is gorgeous in this role.
The film exceeds two hours of timekeeping. However, all this time is needed to reveal the stories of each character, which turned out to be a lot in this picture. The pace of the narrative and the picture lead to an inevitable ending, which is especially difficult to watch. The denouement is oppressive, the events in which the creators of the picture place the audience are alarming, and competent staging does not allow them to forget this picture for a long time. The finale is fascinating, it makes you rethink your life. He teaches you to enjoy every day, to love your loved ones and never forget that every person's life is a whole world with its own difficulties, joys, insults, grief, wounds and many others.
The second picture about Andrew Garfield's Spider turned out to be controversial, but for me personally, this film is one of the most beloved and memorable. This is a different level of superheroics. The painting teaches us to appreciate life, friendship, and love. After all, it is impossible to exist otherwise.
