Since his childhood Yamato is training to become a monster hunter. His dream is to match Kuja, his childhood idol. Accompanied by Mui, her childhood friend, and Prof, former comrade of Kuja, he left his village in search of quests to complete. However, he soon discovers that a hunter's job is much more difficult than he had imagined.
