During the summer break of her first year in high school, Haruno Komugi's childhood friend, Takiji, returns to their village after attending a high ranking school in Tokyo. Komugi, lonely from her mother being hospitalized, and Takiji, who is living away from his family, start spending time again together, just like in the old days. Kind of like friendship, kind of like love, a diary of the delicate season that is youth.
