When she was small, Fuko experienced paranormal activity first hand. For a moment she was transported to some place she'd never known, and there she met a mysterious boy and saw a shining object flying overhead. They ran away together and then Fuko was transported back to her old place again.

Fuko is now 13 years old and while she has never told anyone about her experience she is now a strong believer in the existance of the paranormal. Because of this, she joined the school's "Mystery Investigation Club", a club for those interested in paranormal activity. The club, however, is usually quiet and nothing interesting is occurs... until one day when a new student, Itsuji, moves to her school.
