Daichi's father is the principal at a school for budding young magicians, but Daichi couldn't care less about magic. When his parents abruptly disappear, Daichi is shocked to find himself appointed to take his father's place! Yozora- the beautiful student council President- is convinced that she's destined to be with Daichi, thanks to a fake TV psychic. This pits Daichi against a jealous student council at the same time he has to deal with a resentful teacher who keeps trying to engage Daichi in bouts of wizardry. Who says magical powers is something cool?
