When class representative Takeyama comes to the house of a classmate to collect school lunch fees, she is drawn into the problems of Yasumi, the only living member of the debt-plagued Matsudaira family, and her loyal maid Miharu as they struggle to pay off their debt in spite of Yasumi's "minus fortune".
