The Kozuki family was granted the Black Dragon's blessing, allowing them to heal the sick and purify impurity with their voices alone. But Ayame's life shatters after her parents' death, leaving her at the mercy of her cruel aunt and uncle, who tortured her until she lost her voice. As their daughter, Mari, rises to become the new priestess, Ayame is offered as a sacrifice to the Black Dragon.

"Why do I have to die like this? Please help me!" In response to her desperate plea, the Black Dragon appears as a striking man and takes her hand, whisking her away to his realm.
