Love, kisses—everything feels real, yet it’s all a lie. A bittersweet high school game of pretend.

Due to certain circumstances, Souichirou had to leave his hometown and move in with his relatives. There, he reunites with Miku, his distant relative and childhood friend. When they were kids, she used to drag him into playing "house" together.

Now, just like back then, she proposes a new game with the same casual tone.

"Want to try pretending to be lovers this time?"
"Hey, sounds like fun. Let’s do it."

At first, it was just harmless fun, pretending to be a lovey-dovey couple. But gradually, things became more intense — they started hugging and even kissing. As they get more absorbed in their relationship, they slowly began losing track of where pretend ended and their real feelings began. Because it’s supposed to be just "pretend love," neither of them can express their true feelings.
