Okami is a god who takes the form of a beast and bestows "blessings'' on the lands he visits. The mountain village where this tradition remains is suffering from a never-ending snowfall all year round. The residents believe that this is due to a lack of offerings to the Okami and decide to present a slave boy as a human sacrifice to their god.
