Narumi Kouta is a second-year high school boy. When his mother remarried, along with a new father came a talented step-sister. Unable to adjust to his new life, he took a part-time job to get out of the house, and he spends his time at a family restaurant until closing time before going home.

One day, Kouta notices that there is a girl from the same school as him, who is also there killing time at the same seat every day, just like him. Her name is Kazemiya Kohaku. She's a celebrity at Hoshimoto Gakuen High School. She's just as beautiful as her sister, a popular idol, but unlike her sister, Kohaku is a beauty who kept people at a.distance with her cold attitude.

Although they were both aware of each other’s daily presence, they never tried to interact with each other. One day, however, when the restaurant was especially crowded, Kouta was offered a seat at Kohaku's table. And then he got a phone call from home. When he finished that call, Kohaku started talking to him…
