The former cabaret, transformed into a guest house, is home to Kikako, a dreamy thirty-something, John, the janitor, Monju, a gay man, Prego, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, and Sensai, a middle-aged single teacher. Each of them lives with their own worries, secrets and frustrations. The mysterious inhabitants of a mysterious guest house. What they hold inside, which sometimes seems foreign to them, is in fact something quite universal. A story of rebirth and acceptance dedicated to all those who are troubled.
