Joy, an art teacher, has difficulty finding any solace in her life. She has never been at ease with her neighborhood, her family, or her job, and is always packed up and ready to go somewhere, but is always held back by life.

Things start switching around with the appearance of an old crush, Aerie, who was the first breath of fresh air in her otherwise smothering life.

Baby steps for the both of them, as they discover the value of companionship, proper relationships, and ultimately, a way to a truly Joyful Life!
