Soldier of Fortune
It's a great game. Beautiful from all sides. There was a time when I spent hours completing missions. Atmospheric, dynamic, beautiful (for that time). The game has a cool plot and well-written characters. There is a clear understanding that it is your actions that will help stop the coming apocalypse. And you feel it as you go through one mission after another. And until the end of the game, the development of the plot does not let go.
The game has a lot of interesting weapons that allow you to make shootouts diverse. The world is well drawn. That was more than enough at the time. Gamers mostly paid attention to dynamism, and there is enough of it in the game. "Soldier of Fortune" is striking in its brutality, but then there were no modern requirements for control over bloodshed and the shooting of limbs. For this reason, no one was worried, and the players were happy to get into one or another part of the opponent's body, which guaranteed a bloody spectacle.
The game pleases with a variety of locations, storytelling, heroes and villains, courage and betrayal, and looks good like an action movie, but not in a movie, but right on the gamer's monitor screen, which is immersed in what is happening. And every time you remember this toy with warmth, even though it is already a good two decades old.
