Everyone is gathered to be chosen; the players are standing on the field with the captains standing in the first line, and it is shown that Raimon's managers are present. Aoi seems happy and speaks inwardly, "Tenma, you finally reached here." Meanwhile, Kuroiwa Ryuusei is still inside, talking to Potomuri. Finished speaking, Kuroiwa walks outside, arrives at the balcony and announces the members. At the call of Matsukaze Tenma, Shindou Takuto and Tsurugi Kyousuke's names, Nishizono Shinsuke gets ready but then as Matatagi Hayato's name is called, it it shown that Shindou, Tsurugi and Tenma are shocked. Other names are also called; mainly people whom they didn't know; Ibuki Munemasa, Morimura Konoha, Minaho Kazuto, Manabe Jinichirou, Tetsukado Shin, Kusaka Ryuuji, and Nozaki Sakura. An exhibition match starts in ten minutes (upon hearing this, Tenma is kinda surprised) to test Inazuma Japan's strength against Teikoku who is coached by Kidou Yuuto. Everyone is then shocked once more, especially Tenma, Tsurugi and Shindou at learning that the other members didn't listen to Shindou's order to play as the team (which is said at the changing room to the team, except Nozaki and Morimura, since they aren't present in the room) and play soccer properly, and they are losing points. It ends up with 10 goals for Teikoku, leaving Shindou frustrated but Tenma rises up the moral. Tsurugi, Tenma and Shindou tries once more; Shindou uses Kami no Takuto FI yet again and Tenma passes through with Kazaana Drive. And advancing to the goal, both Tsurugi and Tenma use Fire Tornado DD and scores the first goal for Inazuma Japan, but then match ends and they lost. Everyone is frustrated, especially Shinsuke who wishes to have been chosen, and Shindou crying. Matsukaze Tenma is excited for practice and as he arrives along with Tsurugi Kyousuke and Shindou Takuto for practice, they seem to learn a lot more about the other players. Like how Matatagi Hayato has siblings, to whom Tenma says that their brother is fast. Shindou is still angry about the new players, to the extent that he talks with Kuroiwa Ryuusei, saying the plan for the match against Fire Dragon will be just him defending, Tsurugi shooting, and Tenma passing the ball. Ibuki Munemasa overhears this and gets angry. Ibuki then keeps training hard, even though he still doesn't succeed in catching Shindou's and Tsurugi's shoots. Near night, Matatagi and Tenma have another conversation but it seems that it wasn't entirely enough to encourage Matatagi. On the day of the match, more shocking revelations happen as Manabe Jinichirou accuses Hayato of stealing his wallet, but Minaho Kazuto counter-claims Manabe of not having enough evidence, saying his accusation was full of holes. Manabe then asks Minaho on which side he was, but before Minaho could answer, they get interrupted by Shindou. Manabe then reveals to the Raimon trio that all of the eight players are getting paid to play, which frustrates Shindou even more. During the match, Lee Chung-Yun shoots, and Shindou blocks it, even though Ibuki was anticipating the shoot, making the two have a heated glare at each other. Morimura Konoha is depressed about how the team is developing while she hasn't made any progress. Because of that, she decided to leave the team with leaving a note behind. Matsukaze Tenma, Sorano Aoi and Kusaka Ryuuji went to search for her, ending up to find her by the rabbits. Meanwhile at the camp, Manabe Jinichirou and Minaho Kazuto are looking through the data of the teams they have played against, and realized that each player's data has been drastically increased since their data from before the tournament. Switching back, Tenma began to talk with her, in which Konoha revealed her background. However, Kusaka interfered the conversation, trying to encourage her to come back, but she ran away as he said the way she acts is irritating. Morimura sees a cat on the road, with a big truck encountering it, so she runs to save the cat, and shows an impressive move whilst doing so. After, she was encouraged enough by Kusaka, Tenma and Aoi to come back. Inazuma Japan were shown training afterwards. Potomuri Emnator appeared talking to Kuroiwa Ryuusei, mentioning that some of the players from Inazuma Japan are starting to find out the mysteries of the Football Frontier International Vision 2. Inazuma Japan trained for their upcoming match against Mach Tiger. Kusaka Ryuuji wanted to talk to Morimura Konoha but she avoided him. Kusaka's teammates tried to help him meet Konoha to talk, but sadly, they failed. The day of the match came and the match started. Inazuma Japan and Mach Tiger showed off a good fight against each other, however, Inazuma Japan struggled against them. Because Shindou Takuto moved more forward to help the offense, the defense was left quite weak and were Japan's weakspot. When the ball was kicked outside of the field, Kusaka went into his Berserker mode and ran towards Konoha. Kusaka finally said to her what he wanted to tell her, resulting in him confessing to her which shocked the whole team! Being in the finals of Football Frontier International Vision 2, Inazuma Japan was training hard to win the match. Ibuki Munemasa was trying to improve his keeper skills with Shindou Takuto ordering Tsurugi Kyousuke to shoot. Minaho Kazuto and Manabe Jinichirou were looking through data of their final opponent, Storm Wolf. Then, they heard that they will have a practice match the next day. The next day, Resistance Japan was revealed to be their opponent, shocking the Raimon trio. Hakuryuu and Yukimura score the first goal by chaining White Hurricane and Panther Blizzard. Mahoro scores the second with Maboroshi Shot and Hakuryuu scores the third as his hissatsu shot breaks through Ibuki's Wild Dunk. Tsurugi scores a consolation goal for his team with Bicycle Sword. The score becomes 3-1 for Resistance Japan. While Shindou, Tenma and Tsurugi were able to cope up with Resistance Japan, the other members were left shocked with the fact that they weren't able to cope up with them at all. Tetsukado Shin injured his ankle in the match but didn't show it due to an accident in the past. Later, the members, excluding the Raimon trio, were training in the Black Room. The match between Inazuma Japan and Storm Wolf continued and Storm Wolf's movement are different from the first half, they are playing more fierce! After a goal was made by Storm Wolf, some members of Japan get a little doubtful. However, Tenma encouraged and made them think about how much they've progressed since their previous matches, making them feel better. Nozaki Sakura managed to pull out a new hissatsu Beautiful Hoop and passed a member of Storm Wolf; she then passed to Kusaka and he went into his Berserker Mode. He shot with Kyoubou Head and managed to score the second goal for Japan, putting everyone in a better and positive mood. The match was a struggle for both teams, as they were showing great determination toward each other. A point came in the match where Konoha was being charged at by Zaur Melekh and she felt scared, but everyone shouted her name believing in her; she showed aura of her Soul and tackled him with ease, confusing Zaura, Japan and even herself. She passed it to Tenma who used Z Slash to pass Yuri Averin, and then passed to Matatagi who shot and scored the final goal with Parkour Attack. The outcome of the match was Inazuma Japan's win of 5-4. Tenma and everyone else were delighted and the crowd were cheering them on. But strangely, a mysterious light appeared from the sky, shining down on the stadium and making the audience fall asleep. The light then shone on the Storm Wolf players, and their true forms were revealed. They were aliens, which shocked Inazuma Japan, baffling them. Awestruck at the sight of the spaceship and the alien players, Inazuma Japan eventually met the alien messenger: Bitway Ozrock. He told them about Grand Celesta Galaxy, which proved to be hard to understand to the team. Suddenly, at the entrance came Gouenji Shuuya, who explained the whole incident... Three months ago, the Moon was reported disappearing due to dust in the space, but later Bitway visited Gouenji personally and explained Grand Celesta Galaxy to him. Since Gouenji only thought it was a joke, Bitway used a soccer ball-like weapon to eliminate the Moon, to threaten Gouenji. At this point, Gouenji, with Zaizen Sousuke's aid, assembled all the countries' official and accompanied Bitway to Sekai Gikai Kaijyou to explain the whole course of Grand Celesta Galaxy. As Bitway explained, Faram Obius is a planet about to be destroyed due to a blackhole. Therefore, the planet decided to wage war against other planets. Ginga Renpou Hyougikai, however, negotiated with them to a better solution, which is Grand Celesta Galaxy, a tournament held to decide all the planets' fates. Instead of destroying one another with its military power, the residents of the planets must prove themselves in the interplanetary soccer tournament that they are strong enough to survive, and the winner will have the priority to choose their next habitat. At this point, Earth is forced to choose one way: if they don't send out their players, their planet will be destroyed; if they don't win, Earth will be invaded... Upon returning to their meeting centre, Kuroiwa revealed himself to be truly Kageyama Reiji that Shindou had claimed him to be, and he explained that upon being used on a new medicine, he came back to life and accepted to be Earth Eleven's coach. He then explained about Soul, saying that it's still an ability that was sleeping inside all eleven present. After listening to all the explainations, Tenma became determined to go to space. Just as Galaxy Nauts Gou was about to start the warp, Tetsukado heard some weird sounds, and the team decided to see what was lurking in the spaceship with them. Unlike what they thought, the weird sounds came from Shinsuke, who had secretly went abroad along with them! At this point, Kuroiwa decided to let Shinsuke join Earth Eleven, as Shinsuke also had Soul. The train then went into a warped tunnel and arrived Sandorius. After they have arrived, Ishigashi Gorham, a co-ordinator of Ginga Renpou Hyougikai, welcomed the team and allowed them to explore the neighbourings before the match with Sandorius Eleven started. Meanwhile, in Faram Obius, a princess named Lalaya Obies was watching the videoes of Inazuma Japan in the preliminaries of Grand Celesta Galaxy along with her servant, Minel Eiba. Lalaya was immediately attracted to Tsurugi Kyousuke, watching him performing Bicycle Sword. Despite Minel's protest of Tsurugi being a "Earthling", Lalaya requested him to bring Tsurugi right in front of her... As the team explored Sandorius, several members got lost and Tenma, Tetsukado, Kusaka, Matatagi and Shinsuke were challenged by several Sandoriusians to a soccer-battle. The Sandorius players played in a violent manner, charging at every single member, damaging them so that they can play in the match. Just as Matatagi was about to get hurt as well, Kazerma Woorg, the captain of Sandorius Eleven, halted the match and greeted Tenma and the others, telling them they will play fair despite of the consequences. As Minel returned to Lalaya to tell her about Tsurugi's abduction plan, Lalaya recited a legend she heard about Earth: "When danger befalls our world, our future will be in the hands of those from the blue planet that lies beyond the seventh light." When Mizukawa declared herself as an alien, Potomuri came out and told the truth about him and Mizukawa: the truth that she and Potomuri were the same person,when Potomuri's spirit escaped from his ruined home planet and flew to Mizukawa's body, "healing" her in the process. Potomuri also revealed that Kiel was ruined by a black hole. On the other hand, in Faram Obius, Tsurugi was welcomed by the queen of the planet, Lalaya Obies, who took him on a tour through her city and showed him an impressing leadership. However, Tsurugi then faced a shocking proposal... Earth Eleven arrived in Sazanaara, where their next match will be held. Tenma then confronted Katra Paige again, and asked her questions that were left unawered. However, Katra gave him a clue: he must win through the tournament in order to learn the truth. Tenma and a few others then played a soccer battle with some citizens of Sazanaara. However, they were unable to connect their passes. At the same time, the Sazanaara players all seemed to aim their interest at Matatagi for unknown reason. The soccer battle ended with the Sazanaara players winning with one point. Before departure, one of the aliens told Matatagi that he is a "lonely person" and someone none of his friends really care about. After touring around, they were told that the planet was in civil war with the two parties, the Pro-Machine Faction and the Anti-Machine Faction vying for the rule of the planet. In Faram Obius, Lalaya Obies was led by Tsurugi Kyousuke into another aspect of Faram Obius she had never seen: the unhappy world outside. After meeting Katra Paige again, Earth Eleven decided to split in three groups in search for the third fragment of hope, the red stone. On the other hand, Rodan Gasgus, the Shitennou member in Gurdon Eleven, has set up traps to cause injury to the Earth team. Two groups have managed to escape, but Shindou and Ibuki were thrown off a cliff by a mechanical bird. Plummeting towards the bottom, a pool of scorching magma awaits them! Tetsukado, who was determined to activate his Soul, finally unleashed it, named Buffalo! Shindou and Ibuki eventually returned to the match in the second half and switched in for Konoha and Shinsuke. However, unbeknownst to both Earth Eleven and Gurdon Eleven, Rodan prepared some inhumane traps: magma rock balls that hit straight towards the stadium! But then something even more shocking happened: Arbega Gordon unleashed his Soul Gouryuu and saved both teams from being crushed by a magma rock ball! With Rodan switched out, the match came to the climax with Ibuki and Shindou both unleashing their Souls for the first time and Kujaku, Shindou's Soul had a clash with Gouryuu. Earth Eleven won the match against Gurdon Eleven 3-2. After the match, Arbega gave the red stone to Tenma, and Tenma had a conversation with Katra Paige again. As Banda suggested, Earth Eleven and Ratoniik Eleven have a joint-training. However, while watching Ratoniik Eleven's own training, Komecky Shoryou died suddenly. Banda told them that Ratoniik's inhabitants only have a lifespan of approximately one month, which shocked Earth Eleven a lot. During the break after the joint-training, Tenma and his teammates have a talk recalling their memories of the Grand Celesta Galaxy tournament they have gone through so far. Meanwhile, Kusaka Ryuuji was feeling frustrated as he couldn't activate his Soul. However, when he talked with Banda, he learnt the shocking fact that Banda has only one more day to live, implying that the match between Earth Eleven and Ratoniik Eleven would be his first and last match. In the next day, the match between Earth Eleven and Ratoniik Eleven started. While Manabe Jinichirou was able to unleash his Soul Strike, Kusaka was still feeling uneasy as he couldn't. Under the Baran brothers' attack, Earth Eleven was once again suppressed. However, Minaho surprisingly unleashed a shocking new hissatsu named Asokoni UFO! The two Shitennou members were so furious, they left during the first-half! The match continued with Kusaka still feeling frustrated as he still could not activate his Soul. After noticing that, Konoha delivered him some words of encouragement. Kusaka then finally unleashed his Soul, named Grizzly! However, after using Tentacle Hold, Banda Koloogyu suddenly perished as his life ended. While Kusaka kneeled beside his corpse, Banda's spirit talked with Kusaka before finally passing away. Kusaka then started crying, scoring the winning goal for Earth Eleven and concluded the match. After the match ended, the entirety of Earth Eleven went to Banda's burial place, placing a flower on top of his grave and said their final goodbyes. Potomuri Emnator changed into his true form and explained to Earth Eleven that the four fragments of hope are the ingredients of the last materials of creating the cosmic plasmsa phonton cannon, mithril. However, Manuuba Gibutsu suddenly attacked Earth Eleven with a laser gun and threatened Potomuri with it. He then kidnapped Potomuri along with the fragments of hope. Manuuba brought Potomuri and the fragments of hope to Bitway Ozrock. Potomuri was imprisoned and Bitway revealed to Potomuri his true intentions. Meanwhile,Aoi and Shinsuke became depressed after learning the truth of Manuuba and they told Sakura about Tenma and Tsurugi's past during Holy Road. Aoi and Shinsuke also consoled Tenma as he became depressed over not knowing that Manuuba disguised as Tsurugi. Later Ishigashi Gorham told Earth Eleven about their next opponent, Faram Dite, and he also lied to them that Manuuba was probably a spy sent by Faram Obius. Earth Eleven started training in the Black Room for their next match. As Earth Eleven approached Faram Obius, Shindou had a talk with Kuroiwa Ryuusei, but during the conversation, Shindou learnt that Kuroiwa was actually a traitor and Kuroiwa confessed to him his ambition of becoming the god of soccer... As Earth Eleven arrived at Faram Obius, Kuroiwa Ryuusei resigned from the position of coach. On the other hand, Bitway Ozrock told Potomuri Emnator to invent the cosmic plasma photon cannon. As Potomuri was hesitant, one of his servants brought Katra Paige into the scene. It was revealed that Ozrock kidnapped Katra when Kiel was about to be destroyed. Katra then explained to Potomuri the life energy created out from people's clashing wills. Unbeknownst to them, the light Pixie and the dark Pixie secretly watched the conversation... Lalaya Obies and Tsurugi Kyousuke were saved by Minel Eiba out of the prison. Acrous Obies appeared to Tsurugi in his true form and had a brief talk with Tsurugi, and Tsurugi told Lalaya and Minel that he would join Faram Dite. Meanwhile, Sarjes Rugu appeared and had a brief talk with Tenma. On the day of the match, before the match between Earth Eleven and Faram Dite begin, Ozrock revealed the truth about Ixal and threatened Faram Dite that their defeat would destroy Faram Obius. Before the match between Earth Eleven and Faram Dite began, Lalaya delivered a short speech to the team, encouraging them. Shockingly enough, Kuroiwa Ryuusei reappeared as the coach of Faram Dite. Tenma became more and more depressed, as he saw Tsurugi being the captain for the opponent team. As the match began, both team gave out their best playing against each other, and Sakura, Barga Zachs and Hilary Flail used their Souls. resulting in the energy gauge secretly planted in the stadium getting higher and higher. Ibuki Munemasa also injuried his ankle after attempting to save a goal from Rodan Gasgus' shoot, resulting in Tsuurgi scoring a goal with Bicycle Sword. Despite of his injuries, Ibuki successfully unleashed a new hissatsu, which stopped Rodan's Kazanrai. Earth Eleven sank into despair as Bitway Ozrock unleashed his nightmarish Soul, Ixaal, which easily scored a goal against Earth Eleven's Soul defense. The worse was to come as Ixal Fleet activated their Soul-rampaging hissatsu tactic, Berserk Ray which caused all Earth Eleven's Souls to go berserk and resulted in two own goals against Earth Eleven! At the nick of time, Sarjes Rugu and Acrous Obies, in their Pixie forms, appeared and shattered Berserk Ray with their powers! More surprises came as suddenly a group of Gurdon's Anti-Machine Faction members descended along with Shitennou, who were saved by the Anti-Machine Faction members and returned to aid Earth Eleven! More were to come as the the captains of the previous teams Earth Eleven faced, Kazerma Woorg, Powai Pichori, Arbega Gordon, and the son of Banda Koloogyu, Banda Koloogyu Jr came to help as well! With Shinsuke and Zanakurou also joining, Galaxy Eleven replaced Earth Eleven during the second half against Ixal Fleet. Galaxy Eleven played well with Arbega able to protect the goal with Gouryuu, but he was injured in the process and Shinsuke took up the role of defending the galaxy's goalpost! The final match finally ended with the final goal of Earth Eleven with Matsukaze Tenma, Shindou Takuto and Tsurugi Kyousuke scoring with The Earth ∞. Bitway Ozrock regretted his decisions and was brought away along with Ixal Fleet but not before he shook hands with Tenma. Potomuri Emnator used the cosmic plasma photon cannon to erase the black hole but it went out of course! Luckily, Earth Eleven joined together and with a final kick, they shot it to the right direction, destroying the black hole. Not long after that, Lalaya Obies congratulated Earth Eleven with winning the Grand Celesta Galaxy tournament.
